The October ’24 update for the Alpha Cephei core rulebook is here, bringing with it some cool goodies and improvements to enhance your gameplay experience. While this update is smaller than the major release in September, it still delivers valuable additions, especially for players and Referees who enjoy digital tools and smoother gameplay.

Free Upgrade: VTT Token Pack

We are happy to announce that this update includes over a hundred high-resolution, top-quality tokens for any science fiction campaign, available as a free digital upgrade to all purchases. Another key feature of this update is the addition of a Character Creation Summary Sheet. The step-by-step layout and page references ensure that no detail is missed and that character creation runs smoothly, even for newcomers.

Chapter Names for Easier Navigation

Navigating the Alpha Cephei core rulebook has just gotten even easier. We’ve now added chapter names to the footer of odd-numbered pages, allowing you to quickly find your place in the book without having to constantly flip back to the table of contents. It’s a small but welcome improvement, designed to streamline the reading experience.

I know, this sounds sexier in print books right? Well, let’s just say this change is being put to good use… really soon.

Rule Fixes and Clarifications

As always, we’ve listened to your feedback and implemented several rule fixes and clarifications to improve gameplay balance and understanding. These adjustments, while minor, ensure a smoother experience for both Referees and players.
