Colonial #
The adventurers are on the borders of explored space, helping to select a new world for a colony and then settle it. These campaigns allow a group to try their survival skills and develop a single world extensively.
Commerce #
The adventurers direct a merchant vessel, making a living through the transport of freight, passengers, speculative cargo and the occasional odd job. Such games heavily explore the commerce and negotiation rules.
Cyberpunk #
The adventurers scratch a living under the heels of the government, corporate interests and criminal warlords, in the streets and alleys of endless urban sprawls. This poorly-explored genre is a good fit for the skill-based nature and diverse offering of gear and implants in these rules.
Drifter #
The adventurers constantly move from place to place, seeking employment in (likely dangerous) odd jobs as they explore the universe. These are your typical open-ended “sandbox campaigns”.
Espionage #
The adventurers belong to a government or corporate intelligence agency, and need to go on spy missions against their enemies. These campaigns tend to be more episodic than other common themes.
Exploration #
The adventurers work aboard a survey vessel, traveling through uncharted regions of space, exploring strange new worlds, and seeking out new life and civilizations where no man has gone before.
Mercenary #
The adventurers sell out as a mercenary unit, participating in military actions in the hire of an interested party in a conflict. These campaigns can focus on large-scale military scenarios, in space or on the ground.
Political #
The adventurers are involved in the social and political intrigue of an interstellar entity, engaging dealing with diplomats, nobles and other factions with vested interests in controlling aspects of space.
Rebellion #
The adventurers are involved in civil war, seeking either to defend or overthrow the government. Such campaigns typically blend intrigue and action.
